Prayer
"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.
Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him
with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well;
the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to
each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man
is powerful and effective." James 5:13-16 (NIV)
Ministry Description
This is an intimate and uplifting ministry built on the belief that prayer changes lives.We desire to
help each other grow in our abilities to speak and listen to God daily. We strive to give ladies the
resources to make their prayer lives more complete and to provide them with opportunities to
intercede often on the behalf of others.
Leadership Description
The leaders of the Ladies Prayer Ministry are responsible for organizing and planning events that
will help us grow in our prayer lives. Examples of such activities are the Ladies Prayer Hikes and
classes or workshops relating to prayer, prayer partners, and prayer groups. We ask leaders for a
1-2 year commitment.
